Corrections policy
When we're wrong, we fix it.
Accuracy matters more than speed. This page explains how Top24hr handles errors in published content.
Reporting an error
If you spot a factual error, an outdated claim, a wrong image, or a broken link, report it through the contact page with a link to the post and a short description. We review every report.
How corrections are handled
- Factual errors — corrected in the article as soon as they are confirmed. Material corrections that change the substance of a story are noted in the post.
- Updates — when a story develops (new dates, revised official figures, changed deadlines), we update the post and refresh its “Updated” timestamp, which is shown on every article.
- Minor fixes — typos, formatting, and link repairs are fixed silently; they do not change the meaning of the story.
- Removal — we do not quietly delete stories. Posts are removed only for legal reasons or when they fail our editorial standards entirely, and search engines are notified so stale copies drop out of results.
Timelines
Confirmed factual errors are corrected as quickly as possible — normally within 48 hours of verification. Reports that require checking with original sources can take longer; we prioritize getting it right over getting it fast.
Accountability
Corrections are handled by the editorial team described in our editorial policy. Author pages list who writes for Top24hr, and every article shows its author, publication date, and last-updated date.
